Following the success of last year’s PHEX Chelsea exhibition, the PHEX Plumbing & Heating Exhibition has announced its plans for 2013. This year, a total of six events – and three new venues – will bring the established exhibition series to new regions across the country.

PHEX, now in its 19th year, will continue to bring manufacturers and installers together, enabling visitors to keep informed of the very latest products, new technologies and legislations that directly affect the markets they serve.

The first half of the year will see four one-day PHEX events held in London, Doncaster, Northamptonshire and Bristol. As part of these exhibitions, PHEX will be staging an in-depth seminar and product demonstration programme dedicated to Total Heating Solutions.

This year, PHEX will be visiting: • Wembley Stadium, London – 30 April • Doncaster Race Course, Doncaster – 8 May • Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit, Northamptonshire – 21 May • Bristol City Football Club, Bristol – 18 June • Manchester United Football Club, Manchester – 16-17 October* • Chelsea Football Club, London – 13-14 November* (* Provisional dates, to be confirmed.)

Energy efficiency has taken its place at the forefront of product development and government policy, bringing with it a raft of legislative changes and new technologies that installers must get to grips with. Homeowners and end-users are keener than ever to find ways to save money, and will continue to turn to installers for best advice on the systems they should consider for their homes and businesses.

HVP editor Jennie Ward said: “Energy-efficiency has now taken its place at the heart of the heating industry”. While the fledgling renewables market will continue to grow, it has become increasingly clear that these new technologies must be installed with the needs of the whole building in mind, rather than in isolation.

“Whether they’re working on a newbuild site or upgrading an existing property, installers must consider every aspect of the building to ensure the whole system works together, seamlessly, to give homeowners the best return on their investment.”

Staying true to the long-established and successful format of PHEX, each event will be held at key sports venues across the country, as an exciting and convenient alternative to the main national exhibition halls.

As well as the Total Heating Solution seminar and product demonstration programme, visitors to PHEX will be able see the latest products for themselves, and can take advantage of exclusive show offers and prize draws.
